The Single Red is a .004 thick reed. We consider this a medium weight beginner reed, excels at cow calls and beginner 3-4 note bugles.  Wrapped in our Call Armor tape that never separates or gets soggy built on our Ripit frame. Takes medium air and medium tongue pressure to operate.
